Fraternity and Adulthood between Beauty and Conflict

17 March 2026

Presented by Erica Mastrociani

A new event in the conference series promoted by the Cultural Association “IManlio Cecovini Study Society” is scheduled for Tuesday 17 March at 6.00 pm.

At the Antico Caffè San Marco in Trieste, Erica Mastrociani will give a lecture entitled “Fraternity and Adulthood between Beauty and Conflict.”
What is fraternity? Who is the adult? How do beauty and conflict coexist? What do they have to do with human relationships? What do we mean when we speak of beauty? What does it mean to engage with conflict? Without claiming to find ready-made answers, we will try to let ourselves be inhabited by these questions and, through stories and images, seek to rediscover and renew the pleasure of living good and positive personal and community relationships.

The event is free of charge and forms part of the monthly programme of meetings organised by the International Society for the Dissemination of Manlio Cecovini for Historical, Social and Ethical Studies, dedicated to promoting debate and in-depth discussion on historical, social and ethical issues of contemporary relevance.
