About

Established in 2011, the Cultural Association known as the 'Manlio Cecovini Study Centre' has set itself the objective of investigating the figure of Manlio Cecovini in its cultural, political and social context. He worked in the legal, political, Masonic, artistic and literary spheres where his works were born.

Over a decade, the Study Centre has in fact enhanced, publicised and studied locally, regionally, nationally and internationally the cultural and intellectual heritage consisting of the works and the figure of Manlio Cecovini, integrating the existing documentation on the man, the writer, the jurist, the politician and the Mason.

Over the years, the Study Centre has organised numerous initiatives and activities and financed scholarships, thus investigating and popularising the figure of Manlio Cecovini and the socio-cultural and political context in which he worked.

Renamed the 'Manlio Cecovini International Disclosure Society for Historical, Social and Ethical Studies' in 2022, today the Cultural Association has broader objectives. In fact, the new course includes two main directions: the enlargement of its range of action, transforming the association into an instrument of dissemination for historical, social and ethical studies, and the opening up to a broader public, with the desire to operate also in an international context.

From being a target of analysis, remembrance and study, Manlio Cecovini became the symbol and synthesis of the Cultural Association, the subject to whom the Association is named, as he embodies - through his works and thought - the fields of study it addresses.
