Book Presentation “Italian Freemasonry. From Its Origins to the New Millennium” – 25 August

The presentation of Luca G. Manenti’s book Italian Freemasonry. From Its Origins to the New Millennium (Carocci, Rome, 2024) is scheduled for Monday 25 August at 6:30 p.m., at the headquarters of the 6th District of the Municipality of Trieste (Rotonda del Boschetto 6).

The volume traces the history of Italian Freemasonry from the eighteenth to the twentieth century through a wide selection of documents, aiming to debunk both the positive and negative myths surrounding it and to explore, with scholarly rigour, the many facets of an institution that helped shape the nation’s history.

The event, open to the public and organised in collaboration with the 6th District of the Municipality of Trieste, will feature a conversation between Luca G. Manenti and Andrea Comisso, writer and expert in the history of Freemasonry.
