In memory of Luigi Milazzi
The world of culture, associations and voluntary work loses one of its pillars in the city. Luigi Milazzi, a Triestine born in 1931, passed away on 2 July 2024.
Former President of the Manlio Cecovini Study Centre, the Unesco Centre of Trieste and the Luigi Einaudi Study Centre, Councillor of the Dante Alighieri Society and the University of the Third Age, 'Gigi' Milazzi leaves behind an enormous baggage of teachings, goodness, and love for cultural and philosophical dissemination.
His philanthropic vocation always distinguished him in his professional career with the Cassa di Risparmio di Trieste and in his life of service to others.
This is a great loss for the entire community and it is a duty for the Società Internazionale di Divulgazione 'Manlio Cecovini', of which he was honorary president, to continue his work by cherishing his teachings.
Ciao Gigi, we will all miss you.
