Liberty & Italy: Conference "A New Political Generation between War and Post-war" on 5 May with Luca G. Manenti

As part of the "Liberty and Italy" celebrations organised by the Lega Nazionale — commemorating the uprising of 30 April 1945 against German occupation and the pride with which, on 5 May, the people of Trieste affirmed their belonging to Italy in the face of Yugoslav annexation attempts — the conference "A New Political Generation between War and Post-war" will take place on Monday, 5 May 2025 at 5:30 pm, at the headquarters of the Lega Nazionale (Via Donota 2 – Trieste, third floor).

The conference will feature Luca G. Manenti, Scientific Director of the International Society for the Dissemination of Manlio Cecovini’s Work, alongside Professor Stefano Pilotto (University of Udine).

The discussion will explore the role of political generations that emerged during the delicate transition from world conflict to a post-war period which, on Italy’s eastern border, was marked by uncertainty, suffering, and hope.
