On 22 November: Presentation of the Book "Gli ultimi del Risorgimento"

The presentation of Roberto Spazzali's book, Gli ultimi del Risorgimento. Democratici, garibaldini, mazziniani tra irredentismo, nazionalismo e rivoluzione (published by Edizioni APES), is scheduled for Friday, 22 November 2024, at 5:30 PM at the IRCI/Civic Museum of Istrian, Fiuman, and Dalmatian Civilisation in Trieste (Via Torino 8).

The event, part of the association's collateral activities, will be introduced by Franco Degrassi, President of IRCI. It will feature contributions from historian Luca G. Manenti, Scientific Director of the 'Manlio Cecovini Study Society', and the author himself, Roberto Spazzali, historian and collaborator with IRCI.

The book delves into the stories of democrats, Garibaldians, and Mazzinians between the 19th and 20th centuries, examining the intricate dynamics between irredentism, nationalism, and revolution. A must-attend event for enthusiasts of history and Risorgimento culture.
