Presentation at the Trieste Press Club of Luca G. Manenti’s book on Italian Freemasonry

On Tuesday 26 May at 6.00 pm, the Press Club of Trieste (13 Corso Italia) will host the presentation of Luca G. Manenti’s volume Italian Freemasonry. From its Origins to the New Millennium (Carocci, Rome, 2024).

Drawing on a wide selection of documents, the volume traces the history of Freemasonry from its origins to the twenty-first century, with the aim of dispelling both the negative and positive myths surrounding it and examining, with scholarly rigour, the many facets of an institution that has helped shape the history of Italy.

The public event will feature, alongside the author, historian Fabio Todero of the University of Trieste.
