Presentation in Trieste of Luca G. Manenti’s book on Italian Freemasonry

On Tuesday 3 March at 6.00 pm, the presentation of the volume La massoneria italiana (Carocci, 2024) by Luca G. Manenti will take place at Libreria Zeno Bandini (via del Lazzaretto Vecchio 17A, Trieste).

The event, which is open to the public, will see the author in conversation with the historian Roberto Spazzali, offering those attending an opportunity for further insight and discussion on a subject that continues to arouse interest and debate.

The book retraces the history of Freemasonry from its origins to the twenty-first century, drawing on a wide selection of documents, with the aim of dispelling both the negative and the positive myths surrounding it. With scholarly rigour, Manenti examines the many facets of an institution that has helped to shape important chapters in the history of our country.

This initiative represents a timely moment of historical and cultural reflection, in keeping with the commitment of the Associazione Manlio Cecovini to promoting debate and research.
