The fifteenth event in the lecture series organised by the cultural association "Manlio Cecovini Study Society" is scheduled for Tuesday, 20 May at 6:00 PM.
At the Antico Caffè San Marco in Trieste, Diego Redivo will give a lecture entitled "Renzo de' Vidovich: A Life Between Polemos and Testimony".
Renzo de’ Vidovich was an Italian politician and scholar, known for his research on the history of Dalmatia and for his active involvement in matters concerning the Italian minorities in Yugoslavia.
The conference aims to portray his profile and explore his commitment to keeping alive the memory of Italian heritage in the Adriatic regions, which have been at the heart of complex and difficult historical events.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is part of a monthly series held every third Tuesday, aiming to encourage debate and further exploration of historical, social, and ethical issues.
