Historian Luca G. Manenti, scientific director of the 'Manlio Cecovini Study Society', has recently published his latest book entitled 'Italian Freemasonry. From its origins to the new millennium' (Carocci, Rome, 2024).

The book traces the history of Italian Freemasonry from the eighteenth to the twentieth century: with comprehensible language and a scientific approach, it investigates a phenomenon about which much is spoken and little is known. Knowledge of the role of Freemasonry in salient passages of Italian history (Age of Enlightenment, Risorgimento, Fascism, Republic) and attention to its social, cultural and political aspects are of interest to both experts in the field and the general public.

'Italian Freemasonry. From its origins to the new millennium' (Carocci, Rome, 2024) is available both in bookshops and online at this link.
